Accessible Sunshine Coast Photo Competition

Collection SummaryFor a chance to win a family pass for Australia Zoo, residents with lived experience of disability are asked to share a photo of themselves and their favourite accessible place within the local government area of the Sunshine Coast. Provide a short description of the location and what makes this place accessible and/or inclusive (50 words or less). Submit your entry between 29 October and 22 November 2025. Only one entry per person will be considered for the competition and this will be the first one uploaded. Winner will be announced on 3 December, International Day of People with Disability. One of the best places to visit is the Ginger Factory. There is the beautiful and colourful umbrella installation, great walking paths and the train is also accessible for a wheelchair. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is plenty of shade for anyone who’s skin is sensitive.
